top three favorite bands
okay. so here's the thing. Fall Out Boy will always be the band that I love the most, but i'm going to write about the three bands right now that i can't get enough of.
1. The Rocket Summer - (it kinda ticks me off that people now run around talking about him like he's this new thing. Hun, he's be around for a while. but any hoo.)
First, The Rocket Summer is one person. TRS = Bryce.
I love Bryce because he's such a strong Christian in the mainstream world. All of his songs can be used as if he's talking to a friend or a lover, but someone who understands his faith knows he's singing to his Savior. When he got to be AP's band of the week, he wrote a devotion in that article instead of how "stoned, wasted or laid" he got. He talked about God (not like he was preaching or anything) at his concerts. I just love his music. it's so happy, and upbeat, but can bring you into a worship mood instantly.
2. Panic(!) At The Disco - I have always loved them. At one point, I loved them more then Fall Out Boy. Now that the band broke up and PATD is once again P!ATD makes me happy. They aren't the best influence on the world, but Brendon and Spencer are good guys with good hearts. I love how different they are and how good their music is.
3. Owl City - so ever since I heard "Fuzzy Blue Lights" in 2007, I've been hooked. Adam has always been that little burst of sunshine on my iphone that no one really knew about. Then he got the fame he deserves, and now I have to share my personal sunshine with everyone. I just love how random his songs are, how awkward he is on stage and how he's just as into Lord of the Rings as I am. He's such a wonderful person who loves the Lord and is willing to share Him with the world.
i have a lot of other all time favorites that i feel should get mentioned: All Time Low, Forever The Sickest Kids, The Academy Is..., Cobra Starship, 30 Seconds to Mars, Artist vs Poet, The Cab, Big Time Rush, Flogging Molly and Frank Turner.
